Experience

With a degree in Medicine from the University of Alicante, Dr. Tomás Cantó Diez is a psychiatrist specialized in the approach and treatment of minors with mental health problems. Cantó Diez has developed his professional career in clinical consultations and in shelters and reception centers for minors, which has allowed him to hold the position of Child and Juvenile Psychiatrist in the Conselleria de Sanitat (Regional Ministry of Health). 

Likewise, his extensive knowledge in this field has led him to clinical research, where he has publications in indexed journals, where he focuses his studies on impulse control and behavior or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). In addition, Cantó Diez held the position of president of the Publications Committee of the Spanish Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and is a member of the Spanish Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AEPNYA).
