With an immense interest in understanding human functioning at the cellular and molecular level, Cristina Aparicio Fernández has oriented her professional career towards the field of Biomedical Research. During her years of activity, she has focused on the development of allogeneic CAR-T cells as Cell Therapy against different types of tumors.

She has worked on projects aimed at curing patients suffering from various types of cancer who do not respond to any existing treatment. In this sense, her aim has been to make a product using cells from a healthy donor with a reduced production cost, in order to guarantee a sufficient stock for those people who need it.
