Experience

Dr. Jorge Gutiérrez del Sol is a Specialist in Minimally Invasive Diagnostic and Surgical Techniques, with a PhD in Laparoscopic Surgery from the University of Extremadura and with several postgraduate studies in Veterinary Surgery, such as a Master's Degree in Meat Science and Technology or Clinical Ethology. 

His extensive career stands out for the deep research work he has been doing as author of multiple scientific papers in national and international journals, as well as book chapters and monographs in Veterinary Surgery. For this reason, he is a regular speaker at national and international conferences and congresses on Minimally Invasive Surgery and also Professor in Veterinary Training. 

Thanks to the accumulation of experiences he decided to found his own company VETMI, a mobile service of minimally invasive veterinary surgery and endoscopy based in Cáceres with more than 15 years of experience and in charge of the service of minimally invasive surgery in the veterinary hospital of reference VETSIA in Madrid. He is also a member of the Spanish Association of Minimally Invasive Veterinary Medicine (AEVMI) and member of the Endoscopy Working Group of AVEPA.
