Experience

Dr. José Joaquín Gracia Rodríguez has worked as a veterinarian in different companies and centers dedicated to aquaculture. In these entities he has performed tasks such as Tropical Fish Disease Control, Microscopic Analysis and other management and coordination tasks. 

He has extensive knowledge in Biosecurity and Pathology in the ornamental aquaculture sector. He has also been Consultant of Ichthyopathology and has participated in projects of wild fish conservation and recovery of native crabs.  

  • Responsible for fish disease control at Tropical Center. 
  • Veterinarian at Industrias Canarias del Acuario. 
  • Field technician at Tragsatec 
  • Independent coordinator of projects for the control of allochthonous ichthyofauna, recovery of native crabs and census of wild species. 
  • Coordinator of livestock sanitation campaigns in Castilla-La Mancha. 
  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Murcia.  
  • Specialization Diploma in Aquaculture from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
