Experience

Clinical, teaching and research encompass the main professional areas of Dr. Olga Mitjana Nerín. Enthusiastic about teaching, she received, together with her team, the Santander Award in the XI Edition of the Banco Santander Chair of the University of Zaragoza, for the study and contribution through ICT to the improvement of the quality of education.  

A veterinarian in several clinical centers, the Scientific Field has occupied a large part of Mitjana Nerín's career, who is part of the Instituto Universitario de Investigación Mixto IA2 de Aragón and the Grupo de Investigación de Reproducción Asistida y Sanidad Animal (Assisted Reproduction and Animal Health Research Group).  

With extensive dedication to science, Mitjana Nerín is a popularizer and an excellent communicator. As a result of her effort and scientific dedication, she is co-author of the book Biología reproductiva y genética de la trucha autóctona en Aragón, and she regularly attends national and international congresses on Veterinary and Animal Reproduction.

  • Professional Master's Degree in Swine Health and Production from the University of Lleida.
