Experience

Dr. María José Lavilla Martín de Valmaseda is a Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology and an Expert in Audiology and Childhood Hearing Loss. She is President of the Audiology Commission of the Spanish Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (SEORL-CCC).  In addition, he coordinates the Cochlear Implant Unit of Extremadura at the University Hospital of Cáceres. He has promoted important proposals and lines of research to improve the quality of life of patients with these conditions.   

She has more than twenty years of experience in prestigious public and private hospitals in Spain, allowing her to accumulate a broad vision on Otologic Surgery, Cochlear Implants, General and Child Audiology and making her a reference in her field of work. She has also dedicated herself to university teaching and oral communication in multiple medical events as a member of the Spanish Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Cervicofacial Pathology.  

He has written nineteen journal articles including the study on Percutaneous Bone Conduction Implants and his participation in the Clinical Practice Guide of the Spanish Society of ENT on Facial Paralysis.
