Dr. Luis Gil Santos is a specialist in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, author of several medical books. His work "Surgery of the Hand" has been described by other experts in this specialty as the most complete manual in Spanish on the subject. With more than 700 pages, his creation reviews the basic principles of hand surgery, as well as common procedures and pathologies, management of sequelae, special pathologies, among many other aspects.

He is a frequent lecturer at national and international events and is also a member of the most prestigious medical societies in this area and has been Secretary of the University Institute for Research in Musculoskeletal Diseases of the UCV.
