Dr. Laura Lladó Garriga is a specialist in General and Digestive Surgery who, in turn, has devoted her efforts to become an expert in the field of Hepatobiliopancreatic Surgery and Liver Transplantation, with great emphasis on the latter field. In fact, fascinated by research in this area, she has written dozens of scientific articles related to her approach.

As a result of her excellent research activity, she has obtained the opportunity to be the Secretary of the Scientific Committee of the Spanish Society of Liver Transplantation. In the medical field, she has worked as a surgeon at the University Hospital of Bellvitge. Likewise, given her taste for teaching, she has taught in university studies of Medicine.
