Dr. María Alonso de Diego loves animals, especially equines. For this reason, she has been at the forefront of the veterinary profession for more than 15 years, working tirelessly to promote their health. She has shown a special interest in the Internal Medicine service, completing a specific residency to master the identification of those signs that indicate the presence of problems such as decreased performance, weight loss or changes in behavior and other more dramatic as myopathies, arrhythmias, alterations in heart valves, etc.. 

Her inclination to practice at the highest level has led her to spend several stays in various international clinics, as well as to carry out constant updating in the form of courses and seminars. In addition, she combines care  with teaching, being part of the teaching team of several university programs focused on veterinary care to horses.
