Expert in Endoscopic Nasosinusal Surgery, Skull Base Surgery, Thyroid Surgery, Vocal Cord Surgery, Functional and Aesthetic Rhinoplasty, among other specific areas of Otolaryngology, Dr. Ivan Mendez-Benegassi Silva has served for the past ten years as Associate Chief of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at the University Hospital Rey Juan Carlos and in the Multidisciplinary Unit of Respiratory Sleep Disorders. 

Thanks to his constant updates and extensive knowledge in methods used to aid in the diagnosis of advanced therapies, such as, for example, Sialoendoscopy and Endoscopy of Salivary Glands, have allowed him to treat Salivary Gland Pathologies Secondary to Alterations in their Ducts, he is an Otorhinolaryngologist of wide reference. 

He has a long experience in Snoring and Apneas Surgery to treat patients with Sleep Disorders, restoring their quality of life. All this experience has allowed him to publish on techniques in which highlights the Transoral Robotic Surgery, being certified by the European Board Certificate of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in Vienna. He is also a member of the Spanish Society of Otolaryngology and Cervicofacial Pathology.
