Experience

Veterinarian Gustavo Ortiz Diez has worked in small animal care for more than a decade. He specializes in small animal veterinary surgery with special emphasis on thoracic surgery, oncology and minimally invasive surgery. He focuses his research area in nosocomial infection, specifically in surgical site infection.

Additionally, he is accredited by the Association of Spanish Veterinarians Specialists in Small Animals as a Soft Tissue Surgeon.

  • Degree in Small Animal Cardiology from the Complutense University of Madrid.
  • Doctor and Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid.
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Laparoscopic and Thoracoscopic Surgery at the Centro de Mínima Invasión Jesús Usón. Accredited in functions B, C, D and E of
  • Experimental Animals by the Community of Madrid.
  • Postgraduate Certificate in ICT Competencies for Teachers by the UNED.
