Experience

Over three decades of professional practice, Ana María García Pozo has worked as a Nurse Practitioner. In her career, she has collaborated in the Palliative Care and Psychiatry Units of the Gregorio Marañón University Hospital in Madrid. Her work and research merits allowed her to be part of the Directorate of Nursing in Clinical Management of the same entity. She has participated in various development and innovation programs in Medicine and Nursing.  

In addition, she is an evaluator for the National Agency for Quality Assessment and is a member of the Technical and Scientific Committee of several specialized journals. She obtained the title of Doctor of Science through a thesis focused on the field of Epidemiology and Public Health.

  • Deputy Editor of the Journal Metas de Enfermería 
  • Doctor in Epidemiology and Public Health by the Rey Juan Carlos University. 
  • Professional Master's Degree in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Complutense University of Madrid. 
  • Professional Master's Degree in Integrative Humanistic Counselling from the Galene Institute. 
  • Representative of the Community of Madrid in the Joanna Briggs Scientific Committee.
