Elena Begoña Alonso Sánchez is a recognized specialist in Psychiatry. In this sense, she has devoted much of her professional career to treatment adherence in patients with Chronic Diseases and Personality Disorders. 

In this way, she has performed her functions in health institutions of international reference such as the University Hospital Torrejón de Ardoz. There she has been in charge of creating personalized intervention plans for the approach of complex pathologies ranging from Addictions to Schizophrenia and Bipolarity. As a result, she has managed to optimize the quality of life of numerous patients in the long term. 

It should be noted that she has combined this work with her facet as a Clinical Researcher. In this regard, her study has focused on the analysis of diseases such as Dual Pathology and the development of innovative therapies. She has also been a speaker at various scientific conferences, where she has shared her knowledge on techniques to improve mental health in society. In addition, her commitment to this field has been reflected in her participation in processes of stabilization of health personnel in the Community of Madrid.
