Scientific advances in recent years, significantly improved postpartum care, reduced maternal mortality and improved newborn care. Nurses play a key role in the implementation of these innovations, and it is therefore important that they are up-to-date on the latest techniques and care protocols. However, the educational market is dominated by programs with an excessive theoretical load that neglect the practical applications required by these new resources.
With the objective of updating these professionals, TECH has developed the Practical Training Program in Puerperium for Nurses. The course lasts 3 weeks and is distributed in intensive 8-hour days, from Monday to Friday. Throughout this period, the nurse will be updated on the latest breastfeeding protocols, neonatal monitoring and early identification of postpartum complications. It will also develop competencies to face situations where the emotional health of the mother is affected after the birth of her child.
On the other hand, the degree, which is 100% face-to-face and immersive, provides each graduate with an assistant tutor. Internship Program in Postpartum Care for Nursing
The care of the mother during puerperium is one of the most important stages in maternal and child health care. For this reason, at TECH Global University we have developed an Internship Program focused on training nurses in the puerperium area. During this program, participants will have the opportunity to develop skills and competencies necessary for the care of the mother and newborn, in the different phases of puerperium. In addition, special attention will be paid to the detection and management of complications that may arise during this stage, in order to provide comprehensive and quality care.
Our puerperium training for Nursing offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience supervised by highly trained professionals. Participants will gain first-hand knowledge of the different procedures and techniques used in maternal and newborn care, and will be able to apply them in real situations under the supervision of experts. In addition, this program will provide an in-depth update on the following topics: assessment of the physical and emotional state of the mother; management of breastfeeding and newborn care; and prevention and management of complications in the postpartum period.
