Óscar Atencia Micó is an educator specialized in working with students with high abilities. A work he has done as a teacher in educational centers and from the Valencian Institute of High Abilities, which he has been directing for a decade.

Thus, Atencia Micó is aware of the relevance of the detection of students with these characteristics, by teachers and counselors.
