Specialized in Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems, in the Development of New Materials and the Search for Technologically Advanced Products with improved properties for construction, Miriam Hernández Pérez has a highly specialized professional profile led by a PhD in Materials, Structures and Terrain Engineering: Sustainable Construction, a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Transport Engineering, Urban Planning and Land Management, among other complementary studies that have served her to perform in important positions.

She has extensive experience in R+D+i and is an R+D+i Technician in the Materials Area at the Construction Technology Center of the Region of Murcia, and her fields of research focus on sustainable construction and Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems. She has also worked as a Technical Engineer in the company Servicios Comunitarios de Molina, SA in the Production Department within the Exploitation Area of the Water Service and is part of the Sustainable Construction and Climate Change Area in the Construction Technology Center.
