Experience

Dr. María Teresa Ortega Hernández-Agero is an expert in Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy and Botany. She has promoted a study together with the National Institute for Agricultural Research (INIA), the Complutense University of Madrid and the CSIC to try to determine the differences between four different types of grapes, highlighting some properties of wine, beneficial for the Cardiovascular System and Neuronal Activity. 

Her experience as a researcher has led her to direct doctoral studies and to become a Professor. She is also the author of the book: Applications of new technologies to the practical teaching of pharmacology and of more than 70 scientific publications, among which she is especially interested in the Therapeutic Benefits of Tubers, as well as Adaptogenic Plants.  

He has contributed to 4 scientific congresses and has collaborated with scientific groups such as the Institute of Food Science and Technology and Nutrition, Institute of Industrial Fermentations and the National Institute of Agricultural and Food Research and Technology.
