Experience

Cristina Suárez Castañón is a Doctor in Pediatrics and has extensive experience in the Primary Care Area in the Health Service of the Principality of Asturias.  

She has been dedicated to the investigation of respiratory disorders in children up to 14 years of age, basing her studies on descriptive analysis and epidemiological statistics to establish an effective diagnosis and treatment of common pathologies. 

Among her most outstanding works as a researcher, the one published by the Spanish Society of Family and Community Medicine (semFYC) on the Variability and suitability of anti-asthmatic treatment in Primary Care Pediatrics, a reference edition in the sector, stands out, among many other publications, which have allowed her to be a speaker at relevant congresses and a member of the Infectious Diseases WG.
