Dr. Ana María Pérez Gutiérrez is a Bioinformatics and Genomics Specialist, dedicated to the field of research. In this sense, after starting in the field of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), she has worked with numerous massive sequencing platforms, optimizing protocols with a wide variety of samples. 

In addition, Bioinformatics has been part of an important project to generate Molecular Nanowires with optoelectronic properties derived from polynucleotide hybrids. Apart from her research activity, which has also taken her to the Center for Genomics and Oncology Research, Ana María Pérez Gutiérrez has worked in the Bioinformatics Area at the Virgen del Rocío University Hospital.
