Experience

Ana María Llorente de la Fuente has dedicated a large part of her life to patient care in one of the most important hospitals in the capital of Spain. With a degree in Nursing, she has also developed her healthcare work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where her excellent professionalism has led her to acquire skills in Advanced Life Support in Pediatrics and Neonatal Resuscitation and to transmit this knowledge to healthcare personnel. 

With more than 25 scientific publications to her credit, Llorente de la Fuente has become an expert in End-of-Life Care, forming part of research groups of Scientific Societies such as the Spanish Society of Pediatric Intensive Care. These studies also allow her to keep abreast of developments in this field and focus her work on the Analysis of Coping with Death and Critical Situations.

  • Doctor of Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid.
  • Lecturer in the program Advanced Life Support in Pediatrics and Neonatal Resuscitation.
