Experience

With a special interest in the Humanities and Literature, Carlos Agustín Masías Vergara has a PhD in Humanities and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication, specializing in Philosophy, studies carried out between Mexico and Peru.  His fields of research are focused on Personalism, the History of Peru, its thought and culture, as well as practical life, between ethics and business ethics. 

He has published several book chapters, articles in indexed journals, papers and communications in conferences. With a wide teaching experience, he has obtained several recognitions and awards such as: STIBET Scholarship, contact scholarship for foreign doctoral students in Germany; DAAD Scholarship, to participate in the Interdisciplinary Research Week by the Institute of Philosophy of the Austral University; and the National Scholarship to carry out doctoral studies in Conacyt-Mexico. 

He is an Ordinary Professor of Philosophy at the University of Piura, Peru, and was Coordinator of the Master of Philosophy with mention in Philosophical Anthropology at the same institution, which makes him a University Professor who also participates in various online postgraduate studies at the international level.
