Dr. José Antonio de Andrés Ibáñez is an eminent pain specialist with more than 25 years of clinical and research activity. Thanks to his intense training in countries such as England, Hungary, Canada and the United States, he has been accredited to practice Pain Medicine internationally, serving as Honorary Consultant in the most prestigious hospitals in Great Britain in his area. 

The versed profile he has as a Medical Specialist in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management, has allowed him to lead multidisciplinary teams in the Pain Units most frequented by patients in search of the best solution to their conditions. 

Along with his clinical work, he is a member of various organizations that promote clinical research in Europe and the world, serving as Secretary General and Director of the Scientific Committee of the European Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Therapy, since 1998 representing Spain on the board of the European Pain Federation (EFIC) of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) Chapters.
