Experience

The extensive career of Dr. José Tuñón Fernández has led him to become involved in a multitude of cardiological fields, especially Coronary Heart Disease, Cardiovascular Prevention and Atherosclerosis research. Not in vain has he been a member of the working group on Atherosclerosis and Vascular Biology of the European Society of Cardiology, occupying various positions of responsibility in national and international societies in this field. 

His knowledge has allowed him to work in the Cardiology Service of the Fundación Jiménez Díaz, for which he is responsible, as well as participating in clinical trials in the Odyssey Outcomes and AMPLITUDE studies. More than 150 articles published and 180 conferences given attest to the importance of his contributions in the field of Cardiology.
