Dr. Verónica Puertas Martín is a Specialist in Pediatric Medical Care, specifically in the area of Palliative Care and Neurology. She has worked on an interrupted basis as such in several centers, remaining at the Niño Jesús University Hospital for Children since the culmination of her stay as MIR. In addition, she has completed a doctoral thesis based on the study of cognitive performance in patients with essential tremor, research work in which she made an exhaustive comparison with controls and patients affected with Parkinson's disease.

She is a professional with a strong commitment to medicine. A reflection of this is her interest in teaching in several postgraduate programs, combining clinical practice with teaching in several Spanish universities.
