With more than 30 years of experience, Dr. José Luis Álvarez Ossorio is Head of Service and Director of the Clinical Management Unit of Urology at the University Hospital Puerta del Mar in Cadiz, an activity he combines with research and university teaching as Associate Professor of Urology at the Faculty of Medicine.  

After graduating and obtaining his doctorate in Medicine with his thesis "Anatomoclinical correlation of morphometric parameters of prostatic carcinoma", he dedicated himself to Urology as a specialty, standing out as National Coordinator of Endourology, Laparoscopy and Urological Robotics of the Spanish Association of Urology for 4 years. In addition to organizing various scientific activities with the Spanish Association of Urology of which he is a member.  

He is the author of multiple publications in journals of the specialty and participant in congresses and meetings as a speaker in the areas of his interest, being principal investigator in several clinical trials accredited at Excellent level by the Agency of Health Quality of Andalusia.
