Awarded by the Spanish Association of Urology for his clinical advances in the field of Endourology, Dr. José Gabriel Valdivia Uría is a prestigious physician and surgeon. With a professional background of more than 60 years, he has stood out for having an approach based on constant innovation within his specialty.

In this sense, he has carried out his work in internationally renowned health institutions such as the Clinical University Hospital Lozano Blesa in Zaragoza. In this way, he has held strategic roles ranging from the Direction of the Urology Service or leadership of multidisciplinary work teams to the implementation of pioneering techniques for the management of urinary lithiasis. Likewise, he has integrated emerging technological tools such as laser Ureteroscopy into his daily practice, which has significantly optimized recovery for many patients.

On the other hand, he has combined these functions with his work as President of the Spanish Association of Videosurgery. Thanks to this, he has promoted various initiatives to incorporate advanced instruments such as 3D vision systems or robotics into surgical practice, thereby improving both precision and safety in the most complex procedures.
