Experience

Dr. Irene Benito is a specialist in equine clinical care. Her love and dedication for animals led her to study veterinary medicine, but her love for horses, as well as her interest in the management of their pathologies, motivated her to specialize in the approach to their health. To this end, she completed several academic scholarships in prestigious international centers such as the Equine Hospital of the University of Bristol, as well as several training courses for expert care of foals, pregnant mares and adult horses.

In addition, she has developed a particular interest in ozone therapy to promote their health through the antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, immunostimulant and microbicidal effects of this practice. Thanks to this, she has been able to work as an independent specialist in several centers, reaching the responsibility of the Reproduction, Ophthalmology and Nutrition Service of MC Veterinaria.
