Dr. Pablo Rojo Conejo is an acclaimed specialist in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases. He is Head of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Section at the 12 de Octubre University Hospital in Madrid, and is Scientific Advisor to the World Health Organization on Pediatric HIV. 

He combines his healthcare work with research, developing numerous national and international clinical trials. In this sense, his work as Principal Investigator and Coordinator of the EMPIRICAL Project, the first global trial that aims to save lives in Africa, treating babies with HIV, stands out. His prestigious professional career has allowed him to be part of organizations such as the Scientific Advisory Committee in Pediatric COVID-19.
