Experience

Dr. Santiago Mintegui Raso is a recognized specialist in Pediatrics with an extensive experience both in health care activity and in the management and coordination of different renowned organizations. As a Pediatrician, he has worked in health centers such as Cruces University Hospital, where he has been Head of the Pediatric Emergency Department. 

This Doctor of Medicine from the University of the Basque Country has also done great work as Director of Advanced Pediatric Life Support, belonging to the prestigious American Academy of Pediatrics. He has also been Coordinator of the Research Network of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, of the Committee on Safety and Prevention of Unintentional Injuries in Childhood of the Spanish Association of Pediatrics and of the Research Network of the Pediatric Section of the European Society for Emergency Medicine. 

This broad background is complemented by an outstanding activity as a Researcher, with more than 90 publications in high impact scientific journals, more than 35 papers in international congresses and being Reviewer of award-winning publications such as Pediatric Emergency Care and European Journal of Emergency Medicine, among others.
