Experience

Dr. Rafael Llombart Blanco is a specialist in Orthopedic and Traumatologic Surgery. His areas of interest include the diagnostic study and treatment of Spine Pathology, as well as Foot and Ankle Pathology.  He has participated in the prestigious research project on Bone Cement and Chemotherapy in the treatment of Bone Metastases: "Permanence of intravertebral antineoplastic using acrylic cement with cisplatin or methotrrexate". Considered an important experimental study carried out in pigs.  

His dedication to his field of study has led him to be a multidisciplinary professional, as he not only carries out his practice, but also conducts research and teaches subjects such as Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology and Hand Surgery at prestigious universities.

 He has received numerous awards, including the Award for the best communication of the 30th National Congress of the Spanish Knee Society (SEROD) with "Rupture of the Extensor Apparatus in Total Knee Arthroplasty Reconstructed with Allograft" and the Best Oral Communication Award with "Metal Levels in the corrosion of Posterior Spine Instrumentation"
