For approximately 21 years, Dr. Antón Castaño Rivero has been part of the Pediatric Emergency Department of the University Hospital of Cabueñes, a service that has been growing exponentially, attending from 9,000 to 22,000 children per year.  

Along with his hospital medical service, he has dedicated himself to teaching Advanced Pediatric Life Support to health professionals, accredited by the Spanish Group of Pediatric and Neonatal CPR.  

His vast experience has allowed him to lead the organization of important scientific congresses, such as the Annual Congress of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Emergencies (SEUP) where he achieved the participation of 500 pediatricians from all over the world. In addition, important interventions in medical presentations in the Spanish Senate stand out.
