Dr. Belén Rubio has developed her work as a psychiatrist following the biopsychosocial model, based on scientific evidence, focused on the care of the person and individualizing treatments in order to minimize the risks of interventions. 

Her specialty in Psychiatry has led her to be Coordinator of Child and Adolescent Mental Health in the province of Tenerife at the University Hospital of the Canary Islands and to carry out stays in reference hospitals in the USA. She also combines her clinical work with the development of trials and research, which has allowed her to participate as a speaker at numerous national and international congresses and to have numerous publications.
