The study of cancer and its comorbidities in children and adolescents is the main area of activity of Dr. Pilar Guerra García, both from a clinical and research point of view. She is a renowned professional who combines her position as FEA at the 12 de Octubre University Hospital with her participation in the Translational Research Group in Childhood Cancer, Hematopoietic Transplantation and Cell Therapy of the La Paz University Hospital Research Institute. 

His scientific activity in this team has allowed him to develop more than two dozen articles together with other medical professionals, most of them indexed in international journals or cited by highly prestigious databases such as PubMed. In addition, he has participated in the promotion of Eltrombopag in Severe Medullary Aplasia refractory to immunosuppressive treatment, as well as in the therapeutic management with immunoglobulins for the control of Bronchiolitis Obliterans in Castleman's Disease with Associated Paraneoplastic Pemphigoid.
