Explain the basic principles of proper breastfeeding according to the needs of the child

To examine the main cardiological alterations that can occur in childhood, as well as their etiology
To define "normal" cardiac parameters in the child in order to detect irregularities that require correction
Apply the appropriate treatment in pediatric cardiac pathology according to the child's age and general condition
Identify the basic characteristics of the most frequent gastrointestinal disorders in pediatrics
Establish a differential diagnosis with the different related pathological entities and the most appropriate therapeutic regimen
Diagnose feeding-related disorders and perform comprehensive follow-up of the child
Recognize cryptorchidism and implement actions for its resolution
To evaluate possible alterations of the urinary tract, as well as malformations of the renal system
Execute action procedures in case of urinary tract infection according to the child's age and individual characteristics
Evaluate possible alterations of the locomotor system in the child and implement the appropriate corrective treatment in case of established pathology
To investigate the main rheumatological disorders that can occur in childhood
Describe the main characteristics of ADHD and the treatment options
Identify emotional situations that may interfere with the child's normal development
Determine the cause of headaches in a child and establish an adequate treatment plan
Explain how to act in case of epileptic seizures and identify the types of seizures
Recognize the basic principles of sleep and the characteristics at each stage of infancy, among other problems
Master the action to be taken in case of infectious or parasitic dermatoses and describe the main food allergies and how to establish a proper diagnosis
Detect ophthalmologic conditions of infectious origin and establish appropriate treatment

Apply correct pediatric and neonatal CPR
Describe the basic fundamentals of analgesia and sedation in pediatrics
