Introduction to the Program

The latest diagnostic and therapeutic advances in Primary Care injuries”

##IMAGE##

Primary care is the most elementary health care and, at the same time, the most important area for health promotion, disease prevention and control in early stages.

Physiotherapists are part of a multidisciplinary team made up of a wide variety of professionals, so they must know how the system works in order to adapt quickly to it. It is necessary, in turn, to master the theoretical and practical content of their specialty in order to deliver effective and quality work.

Each of our professors has a different specialty and training, which, coupled with their experience in the sector, will make the content more varied, considering different points of view and always oriented toward students expanding their knowledge regardless of their background.

What makes this program different from the rest is the collaborative work put into the different specialties that make up the theoretical and practical content, including up-to-date studies and analyses in Primary Care.

This Postgraduate certificate seeks to guide physiotherapists through the functions required in Primary Care, as well as to provide them with therapeutic tools and essential knowledge useful for professional work.

Postgraduate Certificate in Spinal Studies: Craniocervical and Dorsal Region.

The study of the Spine (Craniocervical and Dorsal Region) is a discipline that focuses on the study of the anatomy, physiology, pathology and treatment of the craniocervical and dorsal region, that is, the area that includes the head, neck and spine. This discipline is a part of the physiotherapy discipline, and aims to understand the interactions between the different systems of the body in this area, in order to make a proper diagnosis and treatment of the relevant problems.

The aim of Spinal Studies is to understand the complexity of this area of the body and how it works, in order to adequately treat the problems that arise in this area. Problems in this region can be very diverse, from neck and back pain to more serious injuries affecting the spinal cord or the functioning of the organs found here.

Knowledge of the Spine is very important for physical therapists, as it allows them to identify and properly treat pains affecting this area of the body. Under the Spinal Studies approach, various therapeutic techniques and treatments can be applied such as manual therapy, neuromodulation, exercise, posture, and respiratory re-education to alleviate symptoms and improve the quality of life of patients with respiratory problems.

In this study program, students can deepen their knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the craniocervical and dorsal region, as well as the main pathologies and treatments related to it.

Spinal Studies is an academic discipline that looks to improve the understanding of the relationship between the head, neck, and spine, and promote the application of appropriate treatments for pathologies associated with this region of the body.
