Dr. Manuel Villanueva Martinez is a superspecialist in Hip and Knee Prosthesis, complex and revision cases, as well as in Ultra-Minimally Invasive Surgery and Biological Therapies guided by Ultrasound in Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery, a technique in which he is a pioneer and for which he has been the first Traumatologist in the world awarded by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), a mention that has been awarded 4 times, thanks to his innovative surgical techniques.  

He is an eminence in his field of work, thanks to his search for excellence, standing out for his advances in the treatment of sports injuries, with surgical innovation and multidisciplinary treatment. He is a precursor in the Community of Madrid in the application of stem cells for the treatment of osteonecrosis and delayed fracture healing.  

He is also the author of six surgical techniques included in the AAOS continuing education catalog, co-founder of the platform www.tulesiondeportiva.com and Director of the Avanfi Institute of Sports Medicine. He has authored more than 80 national and international publications, more than 100 communications in national and international congresses and dozens of papers.
