Dr. Carlos Míguez Sánchez has held various positions at the University Hospital Virgen Macarena, as a specialist in Radiation Oncology, Medical Director and Head of Service. He is also a member of the National Reference Unit for Adult Intraocular Tumors.  

His healthcare and research career has been focused on Brachytherapy. He is the author of several scientific publications on this subject that have appeared in journals of international impact, book chapters and communications to congresses.
