Professor of Medicine, author of almost half a thousand scientific articles, Head of Cardiology at the Ramón y Cajal Hospital and Vice-President of the European Society of Cardiology, Dr. José Luis Zamorano Gómez is a world leader in cardiovascular health and non-invasive cardiology diagnosis.  

He has led an unprecedented project in the field of cardiology education. The Virtual Heart, sponsored by Pfizer Laboratories, aims to be an educational tool that brings patients closer to the knowledge of the heart and its most common diseases. 

In the academic field, Dr. José Luis Zamorano Gómez has published more than a hundred articles in specialized journals and book chapters. In this regard, his research has achieved an Impact Factor > 1500. IH 84. 

He is also the author of several books that are positioned as a reference source in the field of Cardiology. These include the Treatise on Cardiology, Practical Issues in Clinical Cardiology, Strategies to maximize the efficacy of trastuzumab in patients with associated cardiotoxicity, among others.
