Victoria Angélica Torres Añorve is a Mexican philosopher, expert in Bioethics. Throughout her academic life, she has delved into the edges of gene editing and its impact on today's society. Particularly, she has investigated the use of CRISPR for food production. 

Her articles have appeared in journals such as Open Insight and Metaphysics and Persona, two publications of great importance in the Latin American scientific community.
