Experience

Raquel Ferrandis Comes is Doctor Cum Laude in Medicine and Surgery with Specialization in Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Pain Treatment, an area she develops as a physician at the University and Polytechnic Hospital La Fe in Valencia. She also holds a European Postgraduate Certificate in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, a field in which she has directed several theses and postgraduate studies as a university lecturer. 

From her interest in research, she has accumulated numerous publications to her credit, published by the Spanish Society of Cardiology, as well as her pillar project to achieve a National Registry of perioperative management of direct oral anticoagulants. He has also participated in the development of consensus documents and clinical guidelines for the management of antiplatelet agents and anticoagulants in the perioperative period and in the updating of the perioperative thromboprophylaxis guidelines of the European Society of Anesthesiology. 

He is a member of the Committee of Examiners of the European Diploma in Anesthesiology, and a member of the Section of Hemostasis and Transfusion Medicine of the Spanish Society of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, as well as a member of various multidisciplinary groups related to Transfusion Medicine and Hemostasis.
