Dr. Belén Alonso Ávarez is an expert in Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy. She has more than 20 years working in the field and during her career she has held different important positions as a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  

She has been unit coordinator and section chief in renowned hospital centers such as the Ramón y Cajal Hospital, thanks to her specific academic training such as Master's Degree in Strategic Management of Scientific Societies and Valuation of Body Damage, as well as her Doctorate in Medicine. 

Her work has been recognized with prestigious awards in scientific activities for her research work and as a trainer. The School of Ultrasound Spanish Society of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine accredited her for the use of ultrasound as a diagnostic and therapeutic means in Rehabilitation, so she has also excelled in the use of this technique in an advanced way with her patients.
