  • Research and training stays in Sleep Medicine at the University Hospital of Montpellier, France, from 1997 to 1998 and at the Sleep Medicine Center of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, in 2002
  • Current Vice President of the Spanish Sleep Society (SES) president of the same in the period 2006-2010, member of the board of directors of the European Sleep Research Society (ESRS) in the period 2012-2014
