With more than 26 years of experience in Naval Engineering, Carlos Sanchez Plaza has developed a successful career in the Food Sector, with proven experience in the FMCG Industry, as well as in the extractive sector of fishing and food oil production.

He works as Chief Operating Officer or Director of Operations in a leading global olive oil corporation, where he coordinates different areas of the company and has implemented improvements in service, level indicators, the Forecast Accuracy of the company, as well as the efficiency of the production lines.

He is a specialist in the use of tools such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen culture and Forecasting and Demand Planning programs. In addition, he has been Supply Chain and Fleet Manager with Kpis and expert in fishing issues, combining his corporate work with that of University Professor of postgraduate studies, and active member of the Organization of Large Tuna Producers of Spain, the National Association of Cannery Manufacturers and the Naval Technical Committee of Bureau Veritas.
