As a result of this research effort, innovative techniques have been obtained, such as mixed Insolinotherapy or insulin pump by continuous subcutaneous infusion. The endocrine system encompasses such a large number of glands, hormones and metabolic reactions within the human organism that the professional in this specialty is required to remain up-to-date in fields as diverse as nutrition, obesity interventions and many more. At the same time, all these complex areas are subject to scientific research that, on a continuous basis, provide discoveries in terms of techniques and tools for the approach to these ailments. However, there are still not enough pedagogical programs that prepare the specialist for a correct practical intervention of patients suffering from these pathologies.

Aware of this context, TECH has designed this Internship Program which consists of a 3-week intensive on-site internship. During this period, the physician will be up-to-date on innovative care trends from the point of view of Endocrinology. Among them, the treatment of Diabetic Retinopathy by means of anti-VEGF, other corticoids, and laser surgery to reduce inflammation. Also, on the performance of percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy procedures and application of jejunostomy tubes to patients with artificial nutrition needs. In addition, they will delve into the use of much more efficient insulinotherapies to reduce the diabetic patient's crises.

The qualification will take place in a state-of-the-art medical center, to which the professional will have to travel in order to complete 120 hours of clinical internship from Monday to Friday. During this clinical stay, you will receive personalized attention from an assistant tutor who will help you become familiar with the most modern dynamics and techniques within the specialty. At the same time, they will be able to exchange experiences with other experts of the institution who are distinguished by their wide-ranging skills.

Endocrinology is a medical discipline in constant evolution and updating due to the complexity of the endocrine system and the large number of hormonal disorders that can occur.
