Dr. Carlos García Girón is an eminent figure in the field of Oncology, a specialty to which he has dedicated nearly 40 years of his life. During this time, he set up the Oncology Department of the University Hospital of Burgos, where he has spent most of his career, and promoted the construction of a new hospital in that city.

He combines his clinical career with research, focusing his studies on oxidative stress, neoplasms and cytostatics. For this reason, he is a regular participant in first level national and international congresses, where he has participated as an assistant and speaker.
