Dr. José Emilio Llopis Calatayud is Chief of the Department of Anesthesia, Resuscitation and Pain Therapy and Surgical Medical Director at the University Hospital of La Ribera, where he has been coordinating the Surgical Services, the Intensive Care Unit and Endoscopies of this important health institution for 7 years. 

Along with his clinical care performance, focused on specialized pain treatment, he works as a university lecturer and researcher, coordinating the subject of Anesthesiology at the Faculty of Medicine of the Catholic University of Valencia.

In addition, he has successfully managed to lead the most specialized medical teams, thanks to his extensive knowledge and constant updating. In that order, he holds the programs of Master's Degree in Senior Health Management by Arthur Andersen, the Master's Degree in Research and Specialized Treatment of Pain and Master's Degree in Medical Management and Clinical Management.
