In little more than a decade, the incidence of diabetes has skyrocketed worldwide. The number of patients is growing progressively and, at the same time, deaths exceed two million cases each year. This chronic systemic condition requires the care of multiple medical specialties such as Nutrition, Endocrinology, Cardiology, among others. The professionals dedicated to their study must have a comprehensive and up-to-date mastery of all their specificities in order to be able to help their patients’ survival. However, access to study programs that develop the practical skills necessary for the clinical approach to patients is limited.

For this reason, TECH has devised a pioneering program that is entirely dedicated to the development of care competencies for specialists involved in diabetic care. This academic modality comprises 3 weeks of intense training, during which physicians will be up-to-date on the implementation of modern therapeutic, pharmacological and surgical protocols. From the first day of this internship, they will be able to develop their skills by providing direct care to real patients. At the same time, they will have the most modern technological resources at their disposal, since the educational process will take place in a medical institution equipped with the most advanced tools for dealing with Diabetes.

At the same time, physicians will have a direct exchange with great experts, who will transmit their experiences and skills. They will also be supported by an assistant tutor, who will supervise their progress and assign complex tasks in order to promote a much faster and more flexible updating. Therefore, after 120 hours of learning, in intensive days from Monday to Friday, the physician will complete a preparation of excellence and will be able to apply the main novelties of this field in a daily professional practice with an excellent command.
