In hospital-based child care units, nurses are responsible for multiple tasks of varying complexity. These professionals are responsible for providing the best care to sick children and adolescents and, together with physicians, participate in their clinical evaluation. With the scientific and technological evolution of recent years, the nurse's work materials and work protocols have undergone considerable changes and they are now responsible for performing procedures of greater complexity and manipulating more advanced tools. However, the scarcity of educational programs focused on these updates makes it difficult for these healthcare professionals to catch up in a holistic way.

For this reason, TECH has designed an innovative study modality that will contribute to the acquisition of updated competencies by the nursing professional in an eminently practical way. Thanks to it, the nurse will be able to handle on-site situations such as performing catheterizations, lumbar punctures, extracting foreign bodies from accessible orifices, among others. In addition, you will be able to apply the latest technological advances and innovations in this health field.

This Practical Training will be developed during 3 weeks, from Monday to Friday, for 8 consecutive hours, in a prestigious hospital institution. In these facilities, the nurse will have the opportunity to expand his or her skills under the supervision of an assistant tutor who will monitor his or her progress. It will also clarify doubts and concepts of interest in conjunction with leading experts in this health area. Therefore, this is a unique opportunity to get up to date in a prestigious clinical center, incorporating the most advanced Pediatric Nursing methodology into your daily practice.
