Experience

Devoted entirely to Microbiology and Biotechnology, Dr. Manuel Procar is one of the European scientists who has been distinguished with the IG Nobel Prize for Unusual Research and Ecology. For several years, his field of study has been the development and selection of microorganisms useful for Bioremediation, Biofuel Production and Bioenergetics.

As part of his postdoctoral training, he has done work stays at the Pasteur Institute in France, and at the University of California at Berkeley. He is a researcher at the Institute of Integrative Systems Biology of the University of Valencia and directs the company Darwin Bioprospecting Excellence.
