Experience

With more than 20 years of experience as a Physiotherapist, Álvaro Pérez-Somarriba Moreno has carved out an outstanding career in several of the most prestigious health centers and hospitals in the city of Madrid, where he has become Physiotherapist of the Therapies Unit and the Movement Analysis Laboratory at the Niño Jesús University Children's Hospital. 

In addition, he dedicates an important part of his work to teaching and research within the Research and Teaching Group of the Physiotherapy Unit of the Niño Jesús University Children's Hospital. He has received the First Prize for the Research Project in the I Contest of Physiotherapy "San Juan de Dios" and has multiple communications and publications, in addition to having participated in numerous funded research projects.

  • Collaborating Professor of the Professional Master's Degree in Biomechanics and Sports Physiotherapy at the San Juan de Dios School of Nursing and Physiotherapy at Comillas University.

  • Expert in Myofascial Therapy by the European University of Madrid. 
  • Expert in Craniomandibular Dysfunction, CEU San Pablo University.
